The MetroPCS Team Mom Program will honor nine mothers in total, one from each of the OBYFA member leagues for their hard work and tireless efforts given to their respective program to ensure a successful season. MetroPCS will provide these winners with a free cell phone and service for six months. Winners will be recognized in an on-court presentation at the 2011 MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic on
December 17th at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, FL. Every Saturday, the Orange Bowl Committee travels to different parks across nine counties in South Florida for its "Park of the Week" program and takes nominations for the MetroPCS Team Mom Program. Candidates are nominated for their efforts to boost morale, arrange team gatherings, provide snacks and drinks and contribute to the overall success of the program.
Chipotle Mexican Grill Team Parent Program
This year, the Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance, presented by Sports Authority and Chipotle Mexican Grill have teamed up once again to honor all parents of children in the Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance member teams. Each week, as the Orange Bowl Committee travels to parks throughout South Florida for its "Park of the Week" program, nominations for the Chipotle Mexican Grill Team Parent Program are taken.
At the end of the season, Chipotle Mexican Grill will honor nine hard-working parents total, one from each of the OBYFA member leagues to receive a special Chipotle Prize Pack. Parents are nominated for their consistent support of the team, its coaches and players as well as their contributions that go above and beyond to ensure an overall successful season.
Toyota Performance Award
This year, the Orange Bowl Committee and Southeast Toyota are recognizing outstanding players and cheerleaders of the Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance, presented by Sports Authority member teams through the Toyota Performance Award.
In total, nine football players and/or cheerleaders will be awarded with a $100 savings bond courtesy of Southeast Toyota. One football player or cheerleader from each OYBFA league will be recognized for their hard work, involvement and admirable qualities both on and off the field. Recipients will be honored in an on-field presentation at half-time of the OBYFA Football Championships, presented by Sports Authority on December 10 or 11, 2011 (date and time are to be determined).
