Media credentials for the 2010 FedEx Orange Bowl on January 5 are now available at www.sportssystems.com/bcs.

Media outlets planning to cover the 2010 FedEx Orange Bowl must complete the online application by the final deadline of December 18, 2009. Please be sure to review the guidelines and verify that your media outlet meets the credential guidelines set forth by the Bowl Championship Series.
For media members covering the game only if a particular team or teams are playing in the 2010 FedEx Orange Bowl, we ask that you please wait to apply until after team announcements are made on Sunday, December 6 for both credentials and hotel. You will have ample time to apply for credentials and reserve hotel rooms once the teams are announced. If you are a member of the local or national media and will be covering the 2010 FedEx Orange Bowl no matter which teams are playing, please go ahead and apply for credentials now.
We ask that you complete ONE APPLICATION PER MEDIA AGENCY, so please coordinate your coverage and include all requests when filling out your request. The sports editor/director or photo editor should submit the request as the "contact" with all employees they assign to cover the event as "attendees."
The "contact" will need to register the organization’s name, type and contact information, as well as their frequency coordination needs. In order to be approved, the "contact" also must enter all of the "attendees’" birth dates with their driver’s license number and a JPEG headshot.
From the online registration, media can also book hotel reservations at the official media hotel: Marriott Harbor Beach Hotel & Spa at a special discounted media rate of $185 including complimentary internet service in guest rooms and all meeting spaces.
