Orange Bowl Partners with WQAM Radio to Broadcast Live From College Football Media Days

The Orange Bowl and Sports Radio 560 WQAM will join together to broadcast live, unprecedented coverage of college football media days from five conferences over the next three weeks in advance of the 2015 college football season. This year, the College Football Playoff (CFP) comes to South Florida for the first time, with the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl on December 31 at Sun Life Stadium.

Two of WQAM’s regular programs, “The Big O Show” and “The Marc Hochman Show with Zach Krantz” will travel around the country to provide in-depth preseason football coverage at media days in Hoover, Ala. (Southeastern Conference), Pinehurst, N.C. (Atlantic Coast Conference), Dallas (Big 12 Conference), Chicago (Big Ten Conference) and Los Angeles (Pac-12 Conference).

Programming will feature interviews with coaches, student-athletes, administrators, nationally prominent media members and conference commissioners, all discussing the upcoming college football season.

Kicking off coverage of the Capital One Orange Bowl Media Tour will be the Big O Show, live from SEC Media Days, July 13-16, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. each day. Host Orlando Alzugaray will be joined by Joe Zagacki, voice of the Miami Hurricanes. The following week, Alzugaray and Zagacki will be live during the same time period from ACC Media Days, July 20-21.

Zach Krantz will be joined by Alex Donno from Big 12 Media Days, also on July 20-21 from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. Coverage of the final two Media Days will be on The Marc Hochman Show with Zach Krantz on July 30-31 from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. Hochman will be joined by Zagacki in Chicago at Big Ten Media Days, while Krantz will be live in Los Angeles for the Pac-12 sessions.
