Orange Bowl to Partner with Sports Radio 560 WQAM and ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM) to Broadcast Live from College Football Media Days

The Orange Bowl is partnering with Sports Radio 560 WQAM for the fourth consecutive year and ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM) for the third consecutive year to broadcast the “Capital One Orange Bowl Media Tour presented by The Hearth Insurance Group.” Programming will feature live coverage of college football media days from the ACC, Big Ten and SEC as well as reports from the Big 12 and Pac-12 in advance of the 2018 college football season. This year, the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl will be played on December 29 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
Both stations will provide live in-depth preseason football coverage at media days in Atlanta, Ga. (Southeastern Conference), Charlotte, N.C. (Atlantic Coast Conference), Chicago (Big Ten Conference), Dallas (Big 12 Conference) and Los Angeles (Pac-12 Conference). WQAM’s programming will be inside its regular day time programs, “The Joe Rose Show” , “The Big O Show” and “Hochman and Crowder,” while ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM) will vary its broadcast hours.
The Capital One Orange Bowl Media Tour presented by The Hearth Insurance Group will begin live from SEC Media Days with “The Big O Show,” July 16-19, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., on WQAM. Host Orlando Alzugaray will be joined by Joe Zagacki, voice of the Miami Hurricanes. Later that week, Zagacki will join Joe Rose from “The Joe Rose Show” live from ACC Media Days July 18-19 from 6 – 10 a.m. on WQAM. ESPN West Palm will also be live from ACC Media Days on July 19 from 1-3 p.m., and will also air special programming on Friday, July 20 with additional interviews taped at ACC from 6-7 p.m., with host Ken LaVicka.
Beginning Monday, July 23 and Tuesday, July 24 “Hochman and Crowder” will feature hosts Marc Hochman and Channing Crowder and Zagacki live from Big Ten Media Days from 2-6 p.m. on WQAM. Nolan Murphy from ESPN West Palm will also be broadcasting live from 2-3 p.m. from Big Ten Media Days the same days.
In addition, Zach Duarte from 790 The Ticket will be reporting from Big 12 media days in Dallas on July 16 and 17.
Alex Donno, who hosts “The Alex Donno Show” weeknights from 6-10 p.m. on Sports Radio 560 WQAM, will be reporting from Pac-12 media day on July 25 from Los Angeles.
Programming will feature interviews with coaches, student-athletes, administrators, nationally prominent media members and conference commissioners, discussing the upcoming college football season.
