The Orange Bowl Announces Pop-Up Art Made of Oranges for Art Basel - Miami Beach
In conjunction with Art Basel – Miami Beach, the Orange Bowl has commissioned five statues made entirely of oranges that will be strategically placed in various locations of the Wynwood Arts Districts.
During Art Basel, Wynwood patrons will compete in a scavenger hunt by posting pictures of themselves with each of the five statues. Those participating must post pictures of themselves with each of the five statues while tagging each venue and using unique hashtags created specifically for the event, #OBartapeel.
The statues will be displayed at the following landmarks in the Wynwood Arts District:
SoBe Promos – 82 NE 29th St, Miami, FL 33137
The Salty Donut – 50 NW 23rd St #112, Miami, FL 33127
Fireman Derek’s Bakery and Café – 2818 N Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33127
The remaining two statues are hidden at various Wynwood locations for participants to find as part of the scavenger hunt. In addition, the Orange Bowl has commissioned a Bee Free golf cart to transport guests to and from each location to complete the scavenger hunt and to promote the upcoming 2017 MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic and the 2017 Capital One Orange Bowl.
The winner of the contest will receive two tickets to the 2017 Capital One Orange Bowl on Saturday, December 30 at Hard Rock Stadium to see the Wisconsin Badgers battle the Miami Hurricanes.
