Parmalee to Energize Capital One Orange Bowl Fan Fest with Free Pre-Game Concert

(December 18, 2025) – The most iconic halftime show in college football returns with multi-platinum rock band Third Eye Blind headlining the Capital One Halftime Show during the 2026 College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, at Hard Rock Stadium. Third Eye Blind joins an esteemed list of recent Capital One Orange Bowl halftime acts that includes Nate Smith, Fitz and The Tantrums, Walker Hayes, Gavin DeGraw, Flo Rida and Andy Grammer.

Since 1997, Third Eye Blind has recorded ten best-selling studio albums, two live releases and a career retrospective, selling 12 million records worldwide. Led by Stephan Jenkins, the band first broke through during a period of rapid change in the major-label music industry and built a catalog that continues to resonate with a growing, multigenerational fan base. Joining the game day entertainment is chart-topping country group Parmalee, who will headline the Capital One Orange Bowl Fan Fest. The pregame event will take place outside Hard Rock Stadium in the South Lot from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on game day. Admission to Fan Fest is free for all fans with a ticket to the 2026 College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl, eligible Capital One cardholders will have front of stage pit access for the Parmalee performance.

Parmalee is one of country music’s most successful groups, with five No. 1 singles, multiple platinum records and more than 1 billion on-demand streams. The band is comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and lifelong friend Josh McSwain (guitar/keyboard).
