CAPITAL ONE ORANGE BOWL ANNOUNCES COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF GAME DATES THROUGH 2032
South Florida to host three CFP Quarterfinals and three CFP Semifinals over the next six seasons
MIAMI LAKES, Fla. (July 17, 2026) – The Capital One Orange Bowl will continue to play a prominent role in the College Football Playoff, hosting three CFP Quarterfinals and three CFP Semifinals over the next six seasons at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
The College Football Playoff announced its quarterfinal and semifinal dates and bowl assignments for the 2028-31 seasons, completing the Capital One Orange Bowl’s game schedule through the 2031-32 season.
The Capital One Orange Bowl’s upcoming College Football Playoff games are:
- 2026-27: CFP Semifinal – Thursday, January 14, 2027
- 2027-28: CFP Semifinal – Thursday, January 13, 2028
- 2028-29: CFP Quarterfinal – Saturday, December 30, 2028
- 2029-30: CFP Quarterfinal – Tuesday, January 1, 2030
- 2030-31: CFP Semifinal – Thursday, January 9, 2031
- 2031-32: CFP Quarterfinal – Thursday, January 1, 2032
The next Capital One Orange Bowl will feature a College Football Playoff Semifinal on Thursday, January 14, 2027, at 7:30 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium. The matchup will be televised nationally on TNT, truTV and HBO Max, with a spot in the 2027 College Football Playoff National Championship on the line.
Fans can secure priority access to tickets for this season’s CFP Semifinal by placing a ticket deposit today. Deposits provide fans with priority access before tickets are made available to the general public.
