OBYFA EVENTS
Orange Bowl Park of the Week
The Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance Park of the Week program
recognizes select youth football parks across South Florida each Saturday during the fall as part of its continuous community engagement and support through the inclusion of sports.
At each Park of the Week visit, Orange Bowl Committee members, staff, ambassadors and OBIE, the Orange Bowl’s official mascot, entertain players and their families with in-game contests, promotions and giveaways while recognizing the efforts of park leaders, volunteers and parents. A commemorative plaque and financial contribution for park improvements is also presented at each visit.

OBYFA Youth Football Clinics
The Orange Bowl hosted a series of Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance (OBYFA) Football Clinics in partnership with Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University this summer. In addition, the Orange Bowl will assisted the University of Miami coaches with two of their football camps.
The two OBYFA Clinics were free for boys and girls ages 5-14 and focused on proper safety, development, good sportsmanship and education. Football coaches from FIU and FAU ran participants through offensive, defensive and agility drills, including proper techniques to promote on-field football safety.
