ORANGE BOWL COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS OF MIKE LIOTTA AND TYLER HEINKEL TO VICE PRESIDENT ROLES
MIAMI LAKES, Fla. (June 1, 2026) – The Orange Bowl Committee today announced the promotions of Mike Liotta and Tyler Heinkel to Vice President roles, recognizing their leadership, strategic vision and continued contributions to the organization’s growth and success.
Mike Liotta has been promoted to Vice President, Marketing and Communications, after serving as Senior Director, Communications. In his expanded role, Liotta will oversee the Orange Bowl’s integrated marketing and advertising, brand management, communications, digital media and content strategy efforts, continuing to elevate the organization’s visibility locally and nationally.
Since joining the Orange Bowl in 2014, Liotta has played a key role in strengthening brand positioning, enhancing media relations and expanding digital engagement in support of marquee events, including the Capital One Orange Bowl and its role within the College Football Playoff, in addition to amplifying the impact of Orange Bowl Cares and the Committee’s year-round community initiatives. He also spearheaded the Miami Host Committee’s communications efforts surrounding the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship in South Florida.
Tyler Heinkel has been promoted to Vice President, Ticket Sales, Strategy and Services, after serving as Senior Director, Ticket Sales and Services. In his new role, Heinkel will lead overall ticket strategy, premium sales, customer retention initiatives and service operations, with a focus on revenue growth and delivering best-in-class experiences for fans and partners.
Heinkel, after joining the Orange Bowl in 2020, has been instrumental in driving impactful ticket campaigns and developing innovative sales strategies that position the Orange Bowl for continued success — including upcoming College Football Playoff games. His strategic approach and emphasis on customer relationships have strengthened long-term partnerships and enhanced the fan experience. He also played a key role for the Miami Host Committee in leading ticket operations and sales efforts tied to the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship in South Florida.
“Mike and Tyler have consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to the Orange Bowl’s mission,” said Orange Bowl Committee CEO Eric Poms. “Their promotions reflect the significant impact they have made on our organization and our community. We are confident that in these new roles, they will continue to elevate our brand, drive innovation and position the Orange Bowl for sustained growth.”
