Orange Bowl to Host Free Youth Football and Cheerleading Clinics in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties

MIAMI LAKES, Fla. (June 3, 2026) – The Orange Bowl Committee will host free youth football and cheerleading clinics this summer, giving South Florida youth the opportunity to learn fundamentals, develop skills, and engage with collegiate student-athletes and coaches in a fun and safe environment.
Open to boys and girls ages 5–14, the Truist OBYFA Football and Cheer Clinics will provide participants with hands-on instruction focused on fundamentals, safety, teamwork, sportsmanship, and character development. Led by collegiate coaches and players, the clinics are designed to create positive experiences for young athletes while encouraging healthy and active lifestyles.
As part of the Orange Bowl’s ongoing commitment to youth development and community engagement, the clinics aim to provide accessible opportunities for children throughout South Florida to stay active, build confidence, and develop healthy habits through sports.
“Creating opportunities for young athletes to learn, grow, and have fun through sports is an important part of our mission,” said Mike Moran, Orange Bowl Committee President & Chair. “These clinics allow us to continue making a positive impact in communities across South Florida while promoting safe play and mentorship.”
“We are proud to partner with the Orange Bowl to bring this youth football clinic to Belle Glade and provide local children with an opportunity to learn the game, develop new skills, and be inspired by positive role models,” said George Linley, Executive Director of the Palm Beach County Sports Commission. “Strong partnerships like this allow us to extend the impact of sports beyond competition and tourism by creating meaningful experiences that give back to our communities. Events such as this clinic at Orange Bowl Field at Glades Pioneer Park help strengthen youth engagement, promote healthy lifestyles, and reinforce our commitment to making a positive difference throughout Palm Beach County.”
