Orange Bowl Launches 2026 Creative Art Contest

Orange Bowl Launches 2026 Creative Art Contest

Free contest open to ALL Miami-Dade and Broward County students, focusing on the theme of “Orange You Wild About Wildlife”

MIAMI LAKES, Fla. – Orange Bowl is bringing its annual Orange Bowl Creative Art Contest presented by Florida Blue to South Florida schools. The initiative offers all K-12 students in Miami-Dade and Broward schools the opportunity to win prizes.

The theme for this year’s contest is “Orange You Wild About Wildlife.”

Students are encouraged to submit artwork that creatively incorporates the visual elements of South Florida’s vibrant ecosystem, college football and OBIE (the Orange Bowl’s official mascot). Through their artwork, students will showcase their creativity while highlighting the importance of protecting our natural world, mixing sports enthusiasm with a commitment to conservation.

Students of all ages can win a variety of prizes; the Grand Prize winner will receive a custom Orange Bowl bicycle and two tickets to the 2027 College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl at Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2027. The Grand Prize winner will also be recognized during the game and their artwork displayed as a full-page acknowledgement in the official game program.

Teachers can also join in on the fun – the educator whose class submits the most entries will receive a DonorsChoose gift card that can be put towards school supplies and classroom projects. The school with the most entries will have an Orange Bowl takeover celebration at their school.

Please contact Victoria Laudien at (305) 341-4737 or email vlaudien@orangebowl.org to schedule a school visit as part of the OBIE School tour or for more details about the Orange Bowl Creative Art Contest.
