Orange Bowl Committee and Baptist Health Announce Multi-Year Partnership Renewal
Baptist Health to Continue as Official Hospital & Health System Provider of the Orange Bowl Festival
MIAMI LAKES, Fla. (February 26, 2026) – The Orange Bowl Committee and Baptist Health South Florida today announced a multi-year partnership renewal, extending Baptist Health’s role as the Official Hospital & Health System Provider of the Orange Bowl Festival. The renewed agreement continues a longstanding collaboration focused on supporting student-athletes, enhancing community health initiatives, and ensuring world-class medical coverage for Orange Bowl events.
As part of the renewed partnership, Baptist Health will continue to serve as the Official Medical Team for the Capital One Orange Bowl, providing comprehensive medical services and on-site healthcare support for participating teams, coaches, staff, and event personnel. Baptist Health’s nationally recognized physicians, athletic trainers, and medical professionals will play a vital role in helping ensure the health and safety of student-athletes competing on one of college football’s biggest stages.
“Baptist Health has been an outstanding partner and a trusted leader in sports medicine and community wellness,” said Michael Moran, President and Chair of the Orange Bowl Committee. “Their commitment to excellence and athlete care aligns perfectly with our mission to create exceptional championship experiences while making a meaningful impact throughout South Florida.”
Baptist Health has served as the Presenting Sponsor of the Orange Bowl Florida High School Football Showcase since 2021, helping elevate one of South Florida’s premier high school football events. The showcase highlights elite local talent and provides student-athletes with increased exposure to colleges and universities across the country, offering a chance at securing financial aid to assist with the costs of higher learning education.
Building on its strong support of youth athletics, Baptist Health is expanding its involvement with the Orange Bowl by becoming the Presenting Sponsor of all three of its showcase events, to include girls flag football and boys and girls basketball. This expanded partnership underscores a shared commitment to growing opportunities for both male and female student-athletes and promoting participation in competitive sports across South Florida.
“Baptist Health is honored to renew and expand our partnership with the Orange Bowl, reinforcing our shared commitment to programs that highlight dedication, teamwork, and resilience of young athletes,” said Lourdes Boue, CEO of Baptist Health Doctors Hospital. “Supporting the well-being of our community is central to who we are, and this collaboration allows us to extend that mission beyond our facilities through both long-standing initiatives and new community programs. Together, we are helping student-athletes thrive while continuing a tradition that makes a lasting impact across South Florida.”
The Orange Bowl Committee hosts a year-round schedule of sporting events, youth programs, and community initiatives that positively impact hundreds of thousands of South Florida residents annually. Baptist Health’s continued partnership helps ensure the success and growth of these events while reinforcing a shared focus on health, wellness, and community engagement.
