Orange Bowl Committee Elects 2024-25 Board Members and Officers and Nine New Active Members Elected

Miami Lakes, FL (www.orangebowl.org) – The Orange Bowl Committee recently elected its 2024-25 board of directors and officers during its February membership meeting, and officially welcomed nine new active members at the March membership meeting. With these additions, the Orange Bowl Committee now consists of 406 members.

Hector Tundidor Jr., partner of Ernst & Young, LLP (EY), was elected second vice chair of the Orange Bowl Committee (OBC). He serves as a Senior Global Client Service Partner on several of EY’s largest clients and has over 25 years of accounting, business and transaction experience. Tundidor became a member of the OBC in 2014 and will become president & chair during the 2027-28 college football season.

Elected as at-large board members were Ronald Albert Jr., Shawn D. Crews, Angel Gallinal, Xavier E. Gonzalez, Melissa Gracey, David R. Heffernan, Jose Antonio Hernandez-Solaun, and Les Pantin. Re-elected to the board as past presidents were Sean Pittman and Jose Romano. They join Christine M. Barney, Luis. E. Boue, Marlon A. Hill, Vicki H. Matthews, Newton B. Sanon, and Don Slesnick III as OBC board members.

The board then elected Suzanne Amaducci as secretary. She joins president & chair Bradley D. Houser, president and chair-elect Henri W. Crockett, first vice chair Michael E. Moran, second vice chair Hector Tundidor Jr., treasurer Salo Sredni, immediate past president & chair Yvonne Johnson-Phillips, M.D., and chief executive officer Eric L. Poms as members of the executive committee of the board of directors.

In its March membership meeting, the OBC elected nine new active members:

  • Spencer Crowley III – Co-Chair of NATIONAL Land Use Practice – Akerman LLP
  • Kate Grangard – Managing Director – National Public Entities Practice – Gehring Group
  • Saif Ishoof – Founder – Lab22c
  • Bob McFarlin – Senior Vice President – Miami Herald / McClatchy Company, LLC
  • Rush Norton – Private Wealth Manager – Merrill Lynch
  • Caroline O’Connor – President of Business Operations – Miami Marlins
  • Jorge E. Perez, M.D. – Co-Founder/ Medical Director – KIDZ Medical Services
  • Christine Valls – Sales Director Latin America and Caribbean – United Airlines

The new class will play an integral role as the Orange Bowl Committee hosts the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl on January 9, 2025, as well as other sports and community programming under the Orange Bowl Cares umbrella throughout the year.
