Orange Bowl Partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami for the 2023 AvMed Orange Bowl Beach Run

MIAMI LAKES, Fla. (November 28, 2023) – Orange Bowl is proud to announce its partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami for the 2023 AvMed Orange Bowl Beach Run presented by Celebrity Cruises.

The 2023 AvMed Orange Bowl Beach Run presented by Celebrity Cruises will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 a.m. ET at South Pointe Park in Miami Beach, Fla. The run/walk will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami, the premier nonprofit mentoring organization in South Florida, serving the community since 1958.

Since its inception, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami has positively impacted over 80,000 children in Miami-Dade, with an average 96% average high school graduation rate for its mentees. Registration for the event provides participants with an opportunity to donate to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami, contributing to the impact on the lives of local youth. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite college colors during the scenic route through iconic South Beach. The race will feature music, entertainment, and other activities to celebrate college athletics and the college football bowl season. The finish line will include an array of interactive games, free giveaways, beverages, food trucks, and more, and all finishers will receive an official race t-shirt and medal. First, second, and third place medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each USATF age bracket.

On-site registration for the 5K begins as early as 5:45 a.m. ET. The opening ceremony and warmups will take place at 7:15 a.m. ET and the race will begin at 7:30 a.m. ET.
