Orange Bowl Launches “Obie Idol” Search for National Anthem Performer

South Florida Vocalists: Your Chance to Perform at the 2025 College Football Playoff Quarterfinal Orange Bowl Game!

MIAMI LAKES, Fla. – The Orange Bowl, in partnership with WSVN’s Deco Drive, is excited to announce the launch of the Obie Idol contest. The search is on for an exceptional vocalist to perform the national anthem at the 2025 College Football Playoff Quarterfinal Orange Bowl game on New Year’s Day.

This high-profile event will be nationally televised, offering the selected performer unparalleled visibility and recognition on a global stage.

✨ What the Selected Performer Receives:

The chosen performer will be an integral part of one of college football’s most celebrated traditions and will receive:

• Game Tickets: A ticket to the game, plus one guest ticket, to experience the full Capital One Orange Bowl atmosphere.
• Media Exposure: Photos and videos will be taken throughout the event for promotional use, providing additional exposure across various media platforms.

🎤 Qualifications & Details:

To audition for this incredible opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Age: Ages 10 – 22.
• Residency: Must be a South Florida resident (Palm Beach, Broward, or Miami-Dade County).
• Availability: Must be available on December 22, 31 and January 1.
